Expansion of Epilepsy Unit on St. Paul Children's Hospital Campus
Children's Hospitals and Clinics of Minnesota announced that it intends to spend $300 million for a major renovation of its campuses in Minneapolis and St. Paul. One of the key goals of the modernization plan is to make every inpatient room a private room.
The expansion effort also involves upgrading and enlarging the epilepsy unit, operating rooms and expanding the emergency room department. The St. Paul Children's project is scheduled to break ground in the next 12 to 18 months.

October 16, 2007 - Fox Nine News aired a story on the importance of utilizing Magnetic Source Imaging (MSI)/Magnetoencephalography (MEG) technology in surgical planning of epilepsy and tumor cases.
The story highlighted a patient who received care at Minnesota Epilepsy Group, PA. The information obtained from the non-invasive MSI testing allowed the neurosurgeon to avoid critical brain function and remove the tumor successfully.
